The holiday season is a time of joy, giving, and connection. A moment where communities come together to lift others up. This year, Schirmer Insurance Group is honored once again to partner with Closet of Hope, a local organization dedicated to serving over 600 children in foster care throughout the Lowcountry this holiday season.
More than 600 children in our community will spend the holidays in foster care. Many arrive with only the clothes on their backs, and even fewer have the comfort of toys, books, or personal belongings that make this season feel special. Together, we can change that.
We’re opening our doors to accept donations now until December 10th, that directly support children in foster care. Your generosity can help ensure every child feels warmth, comfort, and joy this holiday season.
Accepted Donations:
- New or gently used clothing. All sizes welcome, – infant through teen. Warm items especially needed.
- Toys & Books. New toys preferred, gently used books welcome.
- Backpacks & Personal Hygiene items. Any items that help a child feel confident and prepared.
- Bikes & Other items that create a moment children will remember.
Every single item makes a difference. Whether it’s a cozy sweatshirt or a brand-new bike, you’re helping bring hope to a child who deserves to feel seen and celebrated.

Monday–Friday, during regular business hours
